Kate Toumazi, Events Committee

Kate is Head of Platform Transformation within the Financial and Risk business at Thomson Reuters a change program across the entire business to move form a platform business model from a product model. Her prior role was Global Head of Data Risk Services where she had responsibility for all the non streaming data feed offerings which support a broad spectrum of clients from large global banks through to small asset managers and corporates. She has data expertise across the entire workflow as the products she is responsible for are used throughout the entire lifecycle from front office through to middle and back office.

Kate has worked in a variety of other roles at Thomson Reuters prior to her current position, including both COO and CFO roles in the enterprise feeds areas of the business. Kate has lived and worked in both London and New York. Prior to joining TR in 2001, she worked at Andersen where she became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Kate is a School Governor is Chair the Finance committee of Park Primary school and is a Trustee of Tender, an arts charity working with young people to prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence by promoting healthy relationships based on equality and respect.

She holds an ACA qualification and a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Nottingham.
